Dr. Susan Mason, PhD. is Interim Director of the Master of Community and Regional Planning. She is also the Director of the Graduate Certificate in Community and Regional Planning program and Associate Professor in the departments of Public Policy Administration and Political Science. Dr. Mason teaches courses in research methods and planning for the Department of Public Policy and Administration. She also teaches American Government, Urban Politics and Urban Affairs courses for the Department of Political Science.
She has co-authored two book chapters one in the Handbook of Research Methods in Public Administration Public Human Resource Management: Problems and Prospects. She has authored and co-authored articles that appear in Economic Development Quarterly, Community Development Journal, Community Development: Journal of the Community Development Society, State and Local Government Review and the Journal of Public Affairs Education. Her professional interests revolve around public administration, and urban and community development.
