Are you thinking about graduation?
Students anticipating graduation should plan to apply with the registrar’s several months in advance of their planned graduation date. Please see the deadlines below for specifics on each graduation point. HOWEVER, at least 8 weeks before you complete the registrar’s form for graduation you MUST submit your candidacy application for review and approval in the Department of Public Policy and Administration. Once approved at the department level, your candidacy application must be approved at the graduate college BEFORE the registrar’s office will certify you as meeting preliminary graduation requirements. State and Local Government Review
State and Local Government Review (SLGR), peer-reviewed and published three times/year, provides a forum for the exchange of ideas among practitioners and academics that contributes to the knowledge and practice of state and local government politics, policy, and management. Of particular interest in SLGR are articles that focus on state and local governments and those that explore the intergovernmental dimensions of public-sector activity.

Campaign $20.12
The College of Social Sciences and Public Affairs (SSPA) continues to hold the distinction as one of the largest colleges at Boise State University and of graduating the most students’ year in and year out. Yet SSPA remains one of the more under-resourced colleges when it comes to its ability to provide scholarship support to its most deserving students. Currently, SSPA has a total of 49 endowed scholarship funds that can be accessed in supporting the more than 4,832 declared majors within SSPA. This lack of scholarship support means that many deserving students must look towards alternative means of funding their education. SSPA would like to change that.
SSPA is working to build scholarship support with the help and assistance of our own SSPA graduating students, through the exciting “College of Social Sciences & Public Affairs Campaign $20.12″ scholarship program.
The premise is simple – if each and every graduating student were to make a gift of $20.12 in support of Campaign $20.12, SSPA would be able to permanently endow a new scholarship fund that will benefit future students attending the College of Social Sciences and Public Affairs.
This scholarship would initially provide nearly $500 annually to a deserving student in perpetuity. If we receive additional support from family, friends, faculty and staff – we could not only increase the scholarship amount but we could potentially increase the number of scholarships provided.
