Gary Moncrief, was quoted in an Associated Press story about the current state of the “tea party” platform in Idaho. Moncrief noted that while tea party sentiment seems to be on the wane, conventions, such as the upcoming Republican convention in Twin Falls, tend to draw the most deeply committed delegates and thus the most “active an passionate.”
