The College of SSPA survived the turn of the century as far as technology is concerned.  Praxis was shut down for the weekend because the university backbone systems were all shut down.  When it was started back up it recognized the new year with no problems and has been working great since.  Our problems with the SPSSLAB server were not Y2K related and the end result (new hard drives and reinstallation of operating systems and software) is a leaner, faster, better system than before.

As I've mentioned before, I created a web site which I continually update with helpful tips, information, and links for the end-user.  Please check it often.  If you are having a problem and are unable to get either me or the help desk right away, you may be able to find the answer there.  The link to that site is located on the College's home page:  http://sspa.boisestate.edu
