The BSU Department of Criminal Justice is offering a 1- or 2- credit workshop honoring National Crime Victims’ Rights Week.
Victims’ Rights Week workshops will be held from April 16th through the 19th on the Boise State University campus in Boise. The workshop is open to both undergraduate and graduate students. We will have about 60 hours of workshops offered Monday through Thursday, from 8:30 AM to 8:30 PM.
Victims’ Rights Week workshops are also open to the public.
In BroncoWeb, the class is listed as CJ 494 (undergraduate level) and CJ594 (graduate level), Victims’ Rights Week. It is offered in two sections. You may choose to take either Section 001 for 1 credit, or Section 002 for 2 credits:
- If you take the workshop for 1 credit, you must attend 15 hours of workshops during these five days. We will have sign in/out sheets and you can pick and choose which 15 hours to attend so that you can work around school, work, and family obligations.
- If you take the workshop for 2 credits, you must attend 30 hours of workshops during these five days. Again, we will have sign in/out sheets and you can pick and choose which 30 hours to attend so that you can work around school, work, and family obligations.
- In addition, you must do a paper on one of the workshops: 5-10 pages in length for 1 credit and 10-15 pages in length for 2 credits. It will be due the final day of regular classes for Spring Semester.
