Student Opportunities
Students may enliven their learning through participation in the campus newspaper The Arbiter, KBSU Radio, Internships, UTP – University Television Productions, Forensics – Intercollegiate Speech and Debate, Public Relations Student Society of American (PRSSA), and Mediation Services.
Students are encouraged to participate in internships and practica. A total of 9 credits of any combination of internships, independent study, practica, or communication activities may count toward departmental major requirements; additional credits may count toward general education electives. The work of many students participating in these activities has been recognized through national awards.
