Grant Opportunities
The Canadian government provides support to faculty, students, and institutions who wish to conduct research in or about Canada or develop programs leading to discussion and increased awareness of Canadian culture, society, values and issues.
Individual grants include research grants, faculty enrichment grants which support travel to Canada for purposes of study and graduate student, and senior fellowship programs supporting Canadian research.
Institutional grants include program enhancement grants, matching grants and a conference grant program. Faculty and students interested in receiving grant application materials should address queries to:

Scholarship Opportunities
Canadian Studies Scholarship
There is an annual $300 Canadian Studies Scholarship awarded to qualified students in the Canadian Studies Minor program. In order to be eligible the student must have taken CANSTD 301 and CANSTD 302, have a 3.0 GPA or above, and officially declare the Canadian Studies minor through the Registrar’s Office. The scholarship will be awarded in the fall semester.
Killam Undergraduate Fellowship
The Killam Undergraduate Fellowship provides undergraduate students with $10,000 in tuition to attend any Canadian university during the 2010-2011 school year. Students from any major can apply.
