  • Will Provisions—by providing for the College of Social Sciences and Public Affairs in your will, you can ensure quality educational opportunities for future generations of students.
  • Life Income Agreements such as cash, appreciated securities, or real estate may be used to establish life income trusts
  • Charitable Remainder Annuity Trusts provide the tax advantages of current contributions with the security of fixed, lifetime incomes, generally for the donors and their spouses. The agreed upon annual payments remain unchanged regardless of how the investments perform.
  • Charitable Remainder Trusts are irrevocable trusts that provide a hedge against inflation by adjusting the annual amounts paid to you to the fair market value of the assets in the trusts.
  • Life Insurance policies can be established naming the BSU Foundation as beneficiary while preparing a gift agreement that College of Social Sciences and Public Affairs as the recipient.
  • Retained Life Estates are irrevocable deeds to personal residences, vacation homes, farms or other real property. The donor retains full use of the property while realizing many tax advantages. When the Retained Life Estate ends, the BSU Foundation will use the proceeds from the sale for the purpose designated by the donor.
