Visiting One-month Research Fellowships

Deadline: March 1, 2002

• Each year a number of short-term fellowships for research in residence in its collections are offered.
• The collections support scholarship in a variety of fields and disciplines relating to the history of North American, principally in the 18th and 19th centuries.
• Fellowships support post-doctoral work. Candidates are invited to inquire about the appropriateness of their topic to the collection prior to application.
• Fellowships fund one-month (usually from June to May)..
• Stipend is $1,600.

Your application packet should include:  

• a résumé
• a two to four page description of the proposed research
• a letter of reference
