The Larry J. Hackman Research Residency Program

• Applications for all types of research in the New York State archives are accepted.  
• Preference is given to projects that have an enduring application to public policy, particularly in New York; rely on holdings that have been little used and are not available electronically or on microfilm, and have a high probability of publication. 
• A directory of the collection is available on-line. 
• $1,500 - $2,000/month
• Residency must be complete by May 31 of the year following application
