Robert Bosch Foundation Short-Term Public Policy Fellowships

Applications due: Contact the American Academy for the deadline for 2002-03.  Prior application deadlines were in late May for the next year.  

Short-term fellowships travel to the American Academy in Berlin typically for 6-8 weeks.  It is expected that applicants be knowledgeable in European and German Affairs.  Fellows will establish a working relationship with a Berlin area institution pertinent to their project independently or with the help of staff.   Applicants should indicate how the fellowship will contribute to their professional work and thus enhance their career.  Fellowships are full-time and those selected will not engage in other work during their stay at the Academy.

Benefits:  monthly stipend, round trip air fare, housing and meals at the Center, working space with modern telecommunications facilities, assistance in making institutional and other contacts.

Preferred starting dates are:  September 15, November 1, January 15, and March 15.  Please indicate whether a six or eight week appointment is desired.

Contact the American Academy for specific application material.  Previously requested materials included:  Resume, brief statement of purpose for the fellowship including a project title, suggested Berlin affiliation, three letters of recommendation sent independently.
