In addition, Idaho taxpayers are entitled to claim a tax-credit for such donations whether or not they itemize. For a single taxpayer (or married filing separately), a 50% credit is allowed for donations up to $100; for joint tax returns, the 50% credit may be applied to donations up to $200. Idaho corporations may claim a credit of 50% of their contribution to educational institutions in the state up to a limit of $1,000 or 10% of their annual state liability, whichever is less. The above information serves as an example and may vary
according to individual circumstances. Please consult your tax advisor about
your individual circumstances. |
